This Eden acoustic is the first of a limited number of acoustic builds I have planned for 2014. The Eden model represents my interpretation of an OM style guitar, developed over many years with subtle changes in design, build method and aesthetics. This example features a German spruce soundboard with Indian Rosewood back and sides. The body is accented with figured mahogany bindings and a matching figured mahogany rosette with rosewood accents. The neck is beautiful, dark, old growth Brazilian Mahogany, reclaimed from a Victorian house renovation a few years ago, it supports an ebony fingerboard.

Primarily a finger pickers instrument, this guitar has good tonal response and projects very well. Bass notes are firm and well rounded with an even response across the range while trebles are sweet and warm but still cut through. The guitar responds wonderfully to a gentle touch and has very good sustain.  The neck of this guitar combines a two way truss rod with carbon fiber reinforcement, for improved open tuning neck stability, sustain and response.
