Flamed Maple drop top

One of a pair of Evo Pro stock guitars recently finished. This guitar features a flame Maple drop top on a Swamp Ash body. Finished in a translucent marine blue with darker burst edges. The neck uses my three bolt Ergo neck joint and is hard maple with a  two octave ebony fingerboard and 2.6mm wide fret wire. Position markers are white Mother of Pearl.

All hardware is Gotoh and the pickups are by Sidewynder, with a Lancehead humbucker in the bridge, a custom wound single coil in the middle and, a Bushmaster in the neck position.

Currently wired volume (with treble bleed), tone, and 5 way selector with position 2 being bridge tapped and middle, 3 middle only and, 4 neck tapped and middle.

Quilted Mahogany drop top

Here we have an Evo Pro with a quilted African Mahogany drop top on American Poplar body. Finished in a deep translucent plum the contrasting grained ivoroid binding makes for a very crisp and defined look. The neck uses my three bolt Ergo neck joint and is hard maple with a highly figured birdseye maple, two octave fingerboard. Position markers are black Tahiti pearl.

All hardware is Gotoh and the pickups are by Sidewynder, with a Hognose humbucker in the bridge and two custom wound single coils in the middle and neck positions.

Currently wired volume (with treble bleed), tone, and 5 way selector with position 2 being bridge tapped and middle.

This guitar, which is featured on the ‘Eden’ page of the web site, is currently available.
With stunning Ziricote back and sides and contrasting figured maple binding with green accent line. The soundboard is German Spruce and is one of the tops I purchased from fellow luthier Stefan Sobell many years ago. The rosette is made up of Ziricote and Maple to match the body styling.
The neck is fine, dark old growth Brazilian Mahogany with a 45mm nut and 57mm string spacing at the bridge. The fingerboard is dark Indian Ebony and has a 25.5″ scale length.

Rich tone, even response with a wonderful bass. Supplied in a Hiscox case.
